100 word challenge #3

18/9/2015

To celebrate the opening of the Rugby World Cup 2015 I would like you to complete this 'rugby themed' challenge.

You must include the following words within your writing.

Tackle      try     gasp      cheer    wild

You could write a report about a rugby game if you like. The challenge does not have to be about rugby if you don't want it to be.

You have 105 words altogether to play with including the 5 challenge words. Try to only write this amount, no less, no more.

Have a lovely weekend and hopefully I will be celebrating an England victory this evening.

It was finally the day of Rugby World Cup, England versus Australia and crowd were going WILD. Alicia Marr was reporting from the side line joining in with the CHEER. England were winning with two points.
There was a huge GASP from the crowd as Johnson went to TACKLE the ball from the Australian captain Rogers. Unfortunately as Johnson just went to grab the ball he tripped on his shoe lace and down he went. Johnson laid on the floor for a few minutes to get his breath back despite the game still continuing. Good TRY said Jackson the ENgland Captain and he helped him back to his feet.
This made Johnson even more fierce to play.

On Friday night I went to play football at Bishop Barrington school with my brother Lewis and some friends. We went in and split into two age groups, there was a group of age 4 to 7 and a group aged 8 to 14. We got into teams and the match kicked off with a cheer. We all ran to the ball and started to tackle and try and win the ball. In the first half I missed a goal but in the second half I scored 2 goals and the crowd went wild. When it finished we won with a big gasp of air.

I went to see a rugby match on the 27th August for my birthday this year. When I was walking into the stadium the huge crowd were going WILD already. I was with my Dad and Granddad, me and Dad took our seats while Granddad got some food. The rugby player Alex Moon made a TACKLE which made a player on the other team GASP for breath. My granddad came over with the hot food, this made me CHEER loud as I was really hungry. I had a hotdog with tomato sauce on and as I took a bite the England team scored a TRY.

Once there lived foster boy who was in care for 4 years. He always wanted a new Mam and Dad. This boy was called Wilber Scorp, he always loved cars especially Lamborghini aventador convertibles. On the fourth year he found out they found him a new Dad but not a Mam, he soon met his Dad, he was so rich. A few weeks later he moved in and his house was a tower. He walked in and it was massive, they went in the lift and it only went up with the right hand print. When they reached the top Wilber realized it was a smart house or should I say tower.

Once there was a team called Escomb united they were battling against THE teachers! The battle was to see who would be in charge of the school. The game was rugby. The teams were ready to play. Straight away Escomb united charged at their injured player Mr turner, with a WILD TACKLE. He crashed down on the ground dropping the ball . Daniel grabbed the ball and ran . The crowd let out a GASP as he did a swallow dive and a big CHEER when he scored a TRY. In the end the boys won and all the teachers were given some homework.

Last week I went to Netball with my friends Lilly and Phoebe (Did I mention that we play for Bishop All Stars ? ) When we were in my mum's car Phoebe reminded me not to tackle anyone this time because I sometimes forget the rules. Then Lilly said try your best. As soon as we arrived at the club our Coach announced "Tonight we are playing against King James." Me and my friends were ready for this challenge! In no time at all it was 4-4 and suddenly the crowd gave a gasp as I was shooting at the goal, a second later the crowd went wild and begun to cheer. I am glad we won.

One summer morning at the local town park Escomb primary school's year five class took a little trip there to compete in a multi- sports challenge. First, the boys competed in the football challenge where you had to TRY to score as many free kicks as you could in under half of an hour. Right at the start the crowd gave the biggest CHEER of all time with a couple of "woohoos and one WILD GASP" by their teacher and their two teaching assistants! The first to attempt the challenge was of course the kids who were not afraid to TACKLE... Escomb's year five lot!

Today my friends came to my house and asked me to have a game of rugby, I was unsure as it is a rough game so I said that I,ve never played before but I will give it a TRY as I might be rubbish at it. The game started and was very rough I tried to TACKLE the other team but I was I bit scared as it seemed WILD. The few people in the crowd give a GASP when I fell over, I was not hurt but got up and my cousin give me a big loud CHEER.

Ring, ring, ring. The bell rang. Ellie ran out the classroom door, Along the corridor and down a step, out on to the yard. With a back pack on her shoulders she ran to her rugby coach, Mr. Simpson. Dropping her bag with I don't know what inside, she stood at the end of the line on the school field. "Time to start. Rachel over there, Ellie over that side." They stumbled over to their space. Ellie had the ball and her sweaty hands. She threw it to her friend and ran. "Tackle, try, cheer for your team but do it wildly!" Shouted Mrs Nicholson Ellie's mam. "Go on Ellie!" Shouted Mr Simpson.

One day I went to see a football match, at Sunderland stadium. Sunderland and Barcelona were playing. I hope Barcelona wins. We arrived at the stadium and we got into our seats, straight after the game begun. Messi made a tackle on one of the Sunderland players. Sunderland got a goal, all you could hear was cheer and people going wild. It was all on Barcelona to score a goal until halftime. Unfortunately they didn't so after half time we went to get some food, and I went to try some hot chicken but my mam dropped it. We went back in and my mam let out a loud GASP.

The rugby world cup started on Friday night with an amazing opening ceremony at Twickenham in London. Prince Harry was there and opened the show with a speech.
England and Fiji were the first teams to play and wow what a game. The crowd gasped, cheered and then went wild when England scored the first try of the match followed by a conversion. There were some great tackles from both teams. I only watched the first half as it was quite late. When I got up on Saturday morning I found out that England were the winners of the first game. (Good start England!)

During the football season Messi and Ronaldo joined Chelsea and their first match together went like this. On the 85th minute, Messi passed to Ronaldo, Ronaldo passed back to Messi, and Messi got a bad tackle by Suarez the crowd gasp! ‘’Messi try to get up the team needs you ’’said Ronaldo. Messi got to his feet and there was a loud cheer from the crowd. The referee gave a penalty and Messi shot and scored the crowd went wild the score now was 3-0. The referee blew his whistle and the game finely came to an end. The final score was 4-1 to Chelsea.

Homework

One day a band called "The tackles" were going to a concert to perform a show in front of 10,000 people. They were very nervous. "What if the crowd doesn't like us?"one said anxiously just before the band came on the stage "I'm not sure they will either " another replied. To take their mind off being nervous a fellow band mate decided to do a stage dive. Once they were on stage they started playing music everyone loved it! The crowd cheered ,it was wild! Near the end of the show the leader tried to do a stage dive.

One rainy Saturday,a few weeks ago, i played a game of football. I woke up in the morning and gazed out of my window, only to see pouring rain and huge black clouds:I started to gasp. When I arrived at the rugby club, I had to try and look happy and enthusiastic, when i really just wanted to be in bed.The wild rain was still coming down fast. The game started. We soon scored, and everyone began to cheer. But not long after, the other team were through on goal, but i committed a tackle to stop the attack.the game ended 4 all, but i just wanted my bed.

Friday 18 September England V Fiji Rugby Works Cup 2015

I watched the match on television with my dad hoping England would win, I cheered when we scored a try but didnt like it when each team went in for a tackle it looked as if it would hurt I gasped in shock when they landed hard on the ground and watched as the crowd went wild. My dad had to tell me what was happenng as I didn't understand it.
I watched all of the match with my dad but have decided I do not like rugby and will probably not watch any more of the games, but I hope England win.

“Don’t even try!,” squealed Abbey as we crept upon her in the dark room. “Great tackle!,” we could hear her dad shouting from the room below. He was watching the rugby world cup and could not keep cheer quietly. I was at abbeys sleepover party it was her 9th birthday and we were having a midnight feast as a party. Seen her she had even asked for chocolate cake! When I had first seen her sleeping bag it made me gasp it looked like a wild rabbit! We started to chomp on some cake. After the delicious feast we snuggled down ready to fall asleep.

My friends and I decided to play rugby because the ruby world cup was on that night. First, we decided who was on which team, Polly and I were a team, (England) Lilly and Charlie were a team.(Fiji). As soon as we started playing I went wild! Then when we huddled up I grabbed the pointed ball and there was a gasp. I’d been kicked in the shin, trying to be brave I picked up the pace and out of nowhere I scored a try. Finally, I tackled Lilly there was a cheer in the background. So in the end, guess who won - me!

Today was our group dress rehearsal, for our yearly show, which is this weekend. It is called 'Dance out Loud'. The dance teacher had asked us to try and tackle a very difficult dance, it had a lot of moves and turns in it. The parents all let out a gasp, when we all tried to turn but fell over. We all started giggling as we pulled ourselves up. The dance teacher asked us to try again, this time we were successful. The parents went wild and all had a loud cheer for us. It was so much fun.

The rugby world cup started on Friday, after a really exciting opening ceremony at Twickenham England played Fiji. Every time England scored a try there was a huge cheer from the crowd. The crowd were going wild. The next day I played rugby in the field near where we live with my dad and brother Noah in rugby tops, we had to tackle each other. At the end of the game we were all covered in mud from head to foot. When we got home mam, when she saw us, gave out a loud gasp saying “I hope you’re going to wash those dirty clothes”.

It was the Rugby 2015 tournament and it was intense.

After an awesome tackle was preformed the crown went WILD, Scotland had a try on tricking Japan by pretending to pass the ball to one of there team mates but instead of passing it to them he passed to another team mate that was waiting behind him Scotland GASPED unfortunately it didn't work though, the Scotland supporters CHEERED in happiness and as you know it Scotland won! And Japan weren't happy about it because they haven’t won in 24 years! The Japan supporters weren't happy either! Its all about hope.

I have recently started to play on minecraft and now know what all my friends are talking about. I play the game most days and on some nights my daddy will ask if I fancy a tackle of Minecraft. He sometimes doesnt know what some of the things are but will try to beat me. I sometimes gasp quietly in amazement when new things appear in the game and go on wild adventures and build a lot of things to make a town. I go wild with the texture packs and the enderdragon eggs spawning dragons and cheer when they fight and go wildly crazy.
