For this week's homework over the half term, I would like you to research a country in the World Cup. I would like you to research the country and find their three best players. The more information you find out., the better as you will be quizzed when you get back to school on this matter. Everybody must complete this challenge as it will help us in further lessons. You must make sure it is your own researched work and not copied from the internet. You could create a poster or presentation on your country.

Here are our new spelling charts. Each week our new spellings will be uploaded onto the blog for us to learn. Our spelling tests will take place every Wednesday morning. The spellings have been ordered into our literacy groups, however if you would like to move on and learn the next groups spellings, then you are more than welcome to do so.

We're moving on with coding over the next few weeks... Our next development will focus on Scratch. If you have never had the chance to use this fantastic software, now is the time.

Go to http://scratch.mit.edu/ and click TRY IT NOW to get ahead of the game.

Those people who become more confident with the software will get better opportunities to develop their skills further. You never know... this could be the beginning of a bright future in coding.
