…but as the leaves rustled…
Here in the UK we definitely have a late autumn with golden coloured leaves finally falling from the trees. They are making wonderful carpets for us to walk on or ‘scuff’ along in! I am using this for your writing this week. Please make sure you use the prompt as it is written. The prompt this week is:
…but as the leaves rustled…

Many Thanks, Mr Turner Good evening and welcome back to the Night Zoo. You join us here in dark times I am afraid. The evil Lord of Nulth has declared war on imagination and his reign of terror is in danger of destroying the Night Zoo and creativity once and for all. The Night Zoo needs your help! Your first task is to watch and listen carefully to this short story about the Lord of Nulth. Now complete the story by writing 100 words, beginning with:
He was shocked to find… Tips: Remember to describe what is in the sack and explain what happens to the Lord of Nulth and his guards after he opens it. Good luck young zoo-keepers! For this weeks homework I would like you to complete 5 sentences, each with a relative clause, and write them on the blog. Here are the 5 nouns you must include in your work.
1. Girl 2. Whale 3. Book 4. Poppy 5. Tree Here is an example: 1. Snake The Snake, which lived in the dense forest, slithered across the ground searching for its prey. You can write one of your own as an extension if you would like to. On 11th November each year, people remember those who have died fighting in wars and conflicts. This year we are commemorating the centenary of World War I. The prompt this week is:
…Remember… You might like to write about how it felt to be left at home worrying; you may want to write about how it felt to go away from your loved ones and fight in a foreign land; you may like to write a poem about how you feel on Remembrance Day. Here are some of the images from today's science at Bishop Barrington. Please write a little about your thoughts of the day and what you did.
The prompt this week is 5 words. They must all be used in your writing but do not need to be in this order. Try to write them the words in bold so that they can be easily seen.
