Now, this week’s prompt is all about the sense of touch. It is:
…what was that I could feel?… Make sure you think carefully about the tense – when did it happen? Check that the story makes sense and that your ideas link together. Here are some of the photos from today's Kando Arts session. We have been using shadow art for the first time.
The prompt this week is:
…the light was SO bright… Try to include these words within the 100 words. I have also set homework on Abacus linked to today's lesson. Your username is the first four letters of your first name and surname. E.g. jackthom The password is escomb and the school is esco. Here is the website: https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/ I have uploaded two games on the blog based on fractions. These games can only be played on a computer or a device that can use flash, not an iPad.
Those of you who have iPads can download Coop fractions from the app store for free. However you must ask your parents if it is ok to do so. Coop fractions is a fun game that will help develop your understanding of fractions. Don't forget Mathletics is still available and there are several activities in which you can complete from their website. I would like you to spend some time on Live Mathletics this week. Try to aim for at least level 2/3 questions. This will help you with your quick recall. Our focus for Monday is to continue with fractions so it would be better to work at them over the weekend in order to get a head start. Have a lovely weekend. If you are having trouble loading the game on your computer then right click on the image and press play. It should then say you have no score. Click restart and it will begin to play the game. The first prompt of 2015 is:
… as he started they… You have 100 words to add to these 4 making 104 all together. Make a plan of what you want to write before you start and do read through your work to check it makes sense before you press ‘publish’. |
