The prompt this week needs you to put these 5 words into your writing somewhere.
…GRAND PINK GORILLA BICYCLE LAUGHED… They can be in any order but all 5 must be there. If you can use your IT skills to highlight them, it would really help your readers see that you have included them all. That means your piece should be 105 words long. Please take care of your linking and make sure your writing makes sense. Read it through before you publish! Our school were extremely lucky this week as each class were given a free session by Beth at Destination Judo. Here are some of the photos from the day.
Mr Walton visited Year 5 this morning for a Science/ DT lesson based on rocket building. We had to create a water jet propelled rocket that would be streamlined in order to be the closest to the moon. We had to create a rocket using a water bottle and card. The class worked incredibly hard today and Mr Walton was really impressed. Here are some of the photos taken from the day. For this week's homework I would like you to complete the following: You must complete the 100 word challenge. This shouldn't take too long however please check through your work and complete a creative piece of writing and it must be punctuated. I would also like you to complete the homework based on Mathletics. This will be linked to the work completed this week, on multiplication. I would like the work to be completed by Monday so that we meet the 100 word challenge deadline. Have a lovely weekend! Welcome to the 100 word challenge: Creative writing for young people. Each week a prompt is given, which can be a picture or a series of individual words and we can use up to 100 words to write a creative piece of writing. Check out this weeks... This week we have a picture prompt. I want you to look really closely at it and get those imaginations working. What can you see and what do they mean? Make sure you use your most creative words. Read over your work so that you check that you are posting your very best! Good Luck! |
