Our school were extremely lucky this week as each class were given a free session by Beth at Destination Judo. Here are some of the photos from the day.

1965 - Sir Winston Churchill died at the age of 90. If you are not sure who Winston Churchill is then research his life and find out why he was such an important figure in our country's history. You could even ask a friend or family member. 

Mr Walton visited Year 5 this morning for a Science/ DT lesson based on rocket building. We had to create a water jet propelled rocket that would be streamlined in order to be the closest to the moon. We had to create a rocket using a water bottle and card. The class worked incredibly hard today and Mr Walton was really impressed. Here are some of the photos taken from the day.

For this week's homework I would like you to complete the following:

You must complete the 100 word challenge. This shouldn't take too long however please check through your work and complete a creative piece of writing and it must be punctuated.

I would also like you to complete the homework based on Mathletics. This will be linked to the work completed this week, on multiplication.

I would like the work to be completed by Monday so that we meet the 100 word challenge deadline.
