relative clauses

For this weeks homework I would like you to complete 5 sentences, each with a relative clause, and write them on the blog. Here are the 5 nouns you must include in your work.

1. Girl      2.  Whale     3. Book     4. Poppy    5.  Tree

Here is an example: 

1. Snake

The Snake, which lived in the dense forest, slithered across the ground searching for its prey.

You can write one of your own as an extension if you would like to.

The poppy , which is magic , made all the Poppy's disappear.
The tree , that is green and brown , stood there like a statue.

The Bible, which is a religous book, is read in church.
The poppy, that is a sign of rememberance, is worn to remember those who sacrificed their lives for us.
The oak tree, that is in the Bishops park, is a century old.
Humpback whales, which are an ocean blue colour, migrate from the Pacific ocean to Antarctica.
The girl, which was poorly, waited at the doctors at Bishop Auckland.

The humpback whale, which is one of the largest animals to migrate, went to Mcdonalds.
The book, that moved across the floor, is 25 years old.
The poppy, that is magic made all the poppy disserpiar.
The tree, that has apples on it, can shake them all off.

The ancient book, which had cobwebs on it, smelt like chocolate.
The small poppy, which was red, had a green stalk.

1. I met this GIRL, WHOSE name was Lucy, she had a dog WHICH was golden.
2. I saw a humpback WHALE THAT lives in the North Pacific Ocean, it was swimming with its family.
3. The BOOK I read WHEN I was poorly, made me laugh.
4. We wear a POPPY so we are thanking the people WHO fought in the war, they were brave.
5. There is a TREE, WHICH is green in colour, it's in my garden!

The girl, who was smart, didn't want to leave school.
The blue whale, which was in the middle of the ocean, was eating plankton.
The dusty old book, which was big, got picked up and read.
The new red poppy, which was on a lime T-shirt, was pinned on tight.
The old dark tree, which was in the middle of the misty rainforest, was really frightening.

The red ,black and green poppy, which stood lonely in Flanders field , was getting really old.
The tree, that has a smiley face on its trunk, had its picture taken with the mare.

Good work Neve, I like the sentence about the poppy but in order for it to be grammatically correct, it must be either lie or lay.

The girl,who had long dark silky hair who had no home or famly,whent to school.

This is where the whales migrate every year,wich has all they need green sea weed fish and some rockes, it is unbelievable

Bookes are full of stuff ,when you pick up a science book they are normally heavy,so whatch

The poppy ,that is red and you can put on you tshirt for a special day called , rememberance day

The tree,which is very big and has lots of branches , got chopped down.
