For this week's homework I would like you to write a short newspaper report on the events that took place above. You could include witness reports but make sure you describe the events and set the scene. When did it occur? Where did it take place? I would like this to be completed by Friday at the latest.

On Tuesday 13th a peculiar event took place. A young boy was attacked by a dog while riding his bike. Witnesses say they were horrified at what happened but astonished at what saved him. A cat chased the dog away after he had grabbed the boys leg. One witness who has chosen to remain anonymous quoted "after the dog had attacked the boy the cat just came out if nowhere technically saving his life." The boy did not sustain any injuries and thankfully did not acquire medical attention.

From A Stray to A Hero Cat.
Reporting from Bakersfield in California where a family pet has shown the true meaning of loyalty.
Lunchtime in Bakersfield was all calm, until a neighbors gate was left open. The neighbors dog nosily walks out onto the street, once it had spotted 4year old Jeremy it went running up behind him, and then aggressively shaking him....but not for long as Tara shows her loyalty and pounces on the nasty dog. Not only satisfied with knocking the dog off little Jeremy, but she chases after the dog making sure it's well away from her patch.
Tara came to live here as she followed Jeremy's parents home from the park. She has stayed loyal ever since.

Breaking News

A dog has viciously attacked a young innocent boy riding his bike but then a miracle occoured. A cat came out of nowhere and intimidated the dog forcing him to back away. Luckily the boy wasn't very injured and needed no medical attention. We all hope no more children are attack by dogs but if they are I hope our feline friends will come to the rescue.

Thursday 15th May 2014:
A young boy attacked by a dog and saved by the ‘Hero Cat’
On Wednesday 14th May 2014 a four year old autistic boy, called Jeremy was attacked by a dog outside his house at Bakersfield, California. The family of the boy were so grateful for Tara, the cat, because it was a vicious attack and the boy escaped with minor injuries due to the cat’s intervention. Jeremy needed to have stitches to the wound on this leg. The next door neighbour was upset that his dog did it as he felt so guilty about it. However, Jeremy’s mam and dad are just thankful that their son is alright and Jeremy is grateful that he didn’t suffer of any long-term injuries. They were all very lucky that they have had a caring cat!

On the fifteenth of May a dog attempted an attack on a boy. The dog just started to attack the boy when a cat rushed and pushed the dog away and saved the boys life. This could of been a very bad incident to have dealt with for the police and for the parents of the boy.
