As we have been focusing on writing conversations today, I would like you write another conversation between the characters. Remember to follow our success criteria:
1) I have opened and closed my inverted commas in the correct place;
2) I have included punctuation within speech marks;
3) I have used a new line for a new speaker;
4) I have used a range of synonyms for ‘said’.

We have had a major focus on parenthesis and relative clauses/ pronouns over the last week or so. Please ensure you add these into your work to show me you can use them. 

This week's 100 word challenge will be celebrating the first official British astronaut to perform a Space walk.

I would also like you to share information learned from this afternoon about this important part of History with your family. Could you also bring in any newspaper articles/ clippings from the event if you have any at home. This would be great in order for us to create a class collage next week.

This week we will be focusing once again on times tables. As so few had completed the challenge from before I expect this to be done over the weekend. We will be tested on our times tables on Monday and this will be a continuous thing.  This week's 100 word challenge is linked to Children in Need. There are lots of superheroes in the world (they don't have to always wear a cape). 

You have 100 words to write a short story about a superhero. It could even be a member of your family or someone you have invented. 

Our focus is to use a wide range of punctuation correctly within our writing.
