Legacy means: anything that is handed down from the past, from an ancestor or predecessor
Or an amount of money left to someone in a will.

The legacy of Pedro II of Brazil began to become apparent soon after his death. Emperor Pedro II was the second and last monarch of Brazil, represented a time of remarkable prosperity and progress for his country

Although BRAZIL is the biggest country in South America and has many different legacies ( the football teams 5 world cup victories and links to the African slave trade etc.) in my opinion its most famous LEGACY that will still stand out in years to come is the statue of Christ The Redeemer because it is known as one of the seven wonders of the world. People come to see it from all around the globe and they like it so much because it looks like its giving Rio a great big hug.

I think the Brazillian 2014 world cup has left a legacy because it was one of the worlds best world cups.It was made memorable because of the friendliness of the people and the carnival atmosphere,it was like a big party.

Brazil is famous because of the way it plays football also the Olympics.
It means that somebody has a property or money left with a will.
