Here in the UK we definitely have a late autumn with golden coloured leaves finally falling from the trees. They are making wonderful carpets for us to walk on or ‘scuff’ along in! I am using this for your writing this week. Please make sure you use the prompt as it is written. The prompt this week is:

…but as the leaves rustled…

It was a late Sunday morning in Autumn when millions of children sprang out of the doors to reach their den made from leaves when they arrived only to to find that the wind had knocked it down so they re-built it.BUT AT THE LEAVES RUSTLED.The wind decided to pay another visit and guess what yes it was knocked down again the leaves spread every where but one special leaf was still standing a golden leaf. Then meany years later the leaf was discovered by a young boy named Ross (now he is magic)i hope i will find it!!!!

I knew it was autumn. As I step out of the house, I could see my breathe like a chimney flowing away up into the sky. I was walking to town I thought I would take a shortcut through the woods in the murky fog, but as the leaves rustled I turned my head, there was no body to be seen. I carried on walking but I caught a shrew scrambling through the rustling leaves; I don't know who was more frightened, me or the shrew, I found some raisins in my pocket I threw it down to the shrew in the leaves.

I was in my grandmas pumpkin patch, with loads of leafs. Some how, I then saw a squirrel but it never ran. It came to me but when I stepped out it ran away. Then I went away, but as the leaves rustled, the squirrel came back. The garden was big but their was no playing part. Only flowers! I then put my hand in my pocket and I had some nuts. My stomach was rumbling. Shall I eat them or shall I give them away? That is my dilemma! Don't give them, but I have to, I was thinking.

The leaves rustled,
The twigs danced in the wind,
The branches held up the twigs in delight,
But the trunk stood still like a statue,
And the people stared at the whole tree.

It was one dull dark day.All the leaves were scattered throughout the garden and we were inside enjoying ourselves by putting our Christmas decorations up tinsel was placed on the fireplace, baubles were hung on the dark green prickly tree, crackers were stored in the kitchen cupboard. But as the leaves rustled a huge amount of leaves formed themselves
into a whirlwind. At once I rushed past the bauble tower, slipped my coat and shoes on and sprinted towards the mini whirlwind and left my mam to put all the decorations up by herself.Oh golly I am going to have the best time ever!!!!!!

One autumn day, I went for a walk through the dry leaves in the park but as the leaves rustled below my feet I saw a small hegehog crawling out of the bush on the side of the path! I was so shocked because I had never seen one before. When I got back home I told my mam what I had seen. So the very next day we went
back to where I had seen the hedgehog to see if it was
there again to show my little brother;but unfortunately
there was no sign at all of it.

"Mam, can we go geo-caching today?" I asked.
"Good idea" mam replied.
We got ready, which didn't take long!
I thought to myself.......remember the clue, which finds the geo-cache treasure, which read...the holly and the ivy, which grows next to the old oak tree, that has stood for hundreds of years.
Marc followed the co-ordinates carefully, where we found the exact spot. The hunt began!
I looked and spotted the tree and holly bush, which was green and prickly. The leaves were various colours. I kicked them but as the leaves rustled I was astonished to find the geo-cache camaflaged at the edge.

The never give up I was tired but I had to keep running the tree got faster but as the leaves rustled the other trees thought I was kicking leaves at them so they started chasing me I nearly fell over because I was running so fast but I kept my balance soon the trees stopped I was glad. One day as I walked though the park I stood on some leaves but as the leaves rustled I noticed their was a deep hole underneath them and from the hole came a scary echo then popped out was a hedgehog, then another, in the end out came a whole family of little prickly hedgehogs. Then I went back to my garden to find some slugs and put them in a bucket to take them to the brown hedgehog family. I quickly drop one in each mouth and they go back down in their little home and so did I.

It was a dark Sunday night and nearly December. As I sat staring at my computer thinking of what to do for my hundred word challenge, my Dad came in and gave me some ideas. Most of them were rather boring. Suddenly an amazing idea popped into my head. I decided to take the dog out for a walk instead!
All through the estate there were beautiful twinkling Christmas lights. After a while I noticed that Millie, my dog, was missing. I got worried and searched everywhere. I shouted her name loudly BUT AS THE LEAVES RUSTLED she came running out from behind a tree.

Minecraft Revenge

Once there was a minecraft player named Cookiemaster, he had just started the world, he hasn't a clue what is ahead of him, he should remember his last world where he got killed straight away by zombies. All was quiet BUT AS THE LEAVES RUSTLED he realised there was a mob of zombies behind him, he ran for his life. As soon as he escaped it was morning which was good. He went off to explore, he eventually made it to a village. He found sticks diamonds and string. He made a bow, sword and diamond armour with a golden helmet and no chest plate.

But AS THE LEAVES RUSTLED I ran over to here them.Once i had heard them rustle I sprinted inside as fast as I could because it was really cold out there. When I got inside were it was warm I thought about how good my team played today.

On Saturday morning I decided to take my dog for a walk in the bright coloured woods. As I walked through the brown crunching leaves, I had an idea I started collecting the leaves so I could make a collage when I arrived home. I had all different kinds of leaves in all different colours, shapes and sizes. I walked further and further into the enchanted woods...but as the leaves rustled...I heard an astonishing sound! It was a hedgehog I just remembered I had my camera in my coat pocket, I quickly grabbed it out I captured an amazing picture. When I got home I used the leaves I had collected to make my collage and I put my amazing picture of the hedgehog in the middle.

Winter is here and the garden is covered in a blanket of crispy brown leaves and I had been shopping for some new Wellington boots, whilst my dad had been gathering the leaves up. But the only problem is my pet hedgehog lives under the leaves so I call " STOP" to my dad and as quickly as I could I put my new Wellington boots on without taking the tag off and run over to discuss that my hedgehogs habitat is the leaves. I searched all over he was lost but as the leaves rustled there he was I was so happy he was back!

One day I heard a rumour about if you sneak across the forest you would earn a prize, but if you were heard you would be chased by a wood cutter. So now I heard that rumor I wanted to find out if it was true. I strolled in to the dark misty forest I crept through, with half way to go, but as the leaves rustled I got really scared that I was going to be heard but just then the leaves crunched really loudly beneath my feet then I heard chop chop chop!!! I realised It was the wood cutter!!!
I ran for my life ...

On Saturday I was racing through the forest on my mountain bike. As I was speeding past the trees I noticed my suspension felt different so I said to my friends 'you go on ahead I'll meet back at the car park'. Carefully I dismounted and bent down for a closer look. Having decided to take a slow stroll I noticed a big pile of leaves BUT AS THE LEAVES RUSTLED a angry bagger jumped out at me and growled viciously. His pupils narrowed as if to say step off. Terrified, I turned and ran clinging anxiously on to my bike and made it to safety.

It's autumn the red, orange, green and gold leaves fall off the dark green trees and never stop only at the end autumn. Then we have winter but before we talk about winter we can get more in to autumn,.Autumn is where all the leaves fall off all of the trees and its a beautiful season, better than winter. It isn't better than summer ,because summer is one of the best and hottest seasons and in autumn the sounds were nice but as the leafs rustled, which is the worst sound in autumn.
