…how could something so tiny…
This week you will need to think about punctuation as the prompt is a question. Really plan out your story before you start to write. That can really help make sure you use only 100 words and that the story flows. The prompt is:
…how could something so tiny…

Can I just say HOW CAN SOMETHING SO TINY spoil an hour of your life? Let me explain, two days ago I went for a nice stroll in the park. There was an ice-cream van, so I fiddled around in my pockets to see if I had any loose change. Deep down in my pocket I found a pound. So I waddled over to the ice cream van, just as I was about to get my ice-cream a squirrel jumped up, pinched my ice-cream and ran off. So the squirrel paid for it I chased it round and round in circles for ages and ages.

Well done Thomas. I love the opening to this challenge. It really hooks the reader in. It makes you question what the something so tiny actually is. You have used hyphens within your writing. Try to add a wider range of connectives into your writing.

One day a really small mouse got injured and a vet tried to save it by injecting medicine into its body but the vet mistakenly put something else in instead of medicine and the mouse turned into a big robot monster!! The army were called and told there was an enormous robot mouse in the town centre destroying everything. The army rushed to the centre of town where a soldier came face to face with the mouse and shouted, “How could something so tiny become so power full”? The answer was the mouse was injected with seeds of a sunflower.

Good effort Liam. You have included inverted commas within your writing. Try to punctuate your sentences instead of using connectives several times within a sentence.

Hummingbirds are among the smallest birds on planet measuring around 3-5 inches. The Bee Hummingbird is the smallest and as the name suggests it is no larger than an insect and weighing no more than a penny around 2.5 grams. Like a helicopter a Hummingbird can hover and even fly backwards. The Hummingbird while hovering can flap its wing at around 50 beats a second and because it is so fast the wings are just a blur. The beautiful colours of its feathers make the bird seem like a tiny multi coloured jewel so how could something so tiny be so amazing.

Once there lived a wealthy super hero called the key keeper ; he had a sidekick called Squirrelrun. Squirrelrun has a power and his power is when he is a small squirrel he can make his self turn as big as he wants and he can turn back to human and still have his power so he can do everything what he can do when he is a squirrel. Soon his leader the key keeper died of an evil villain called smudge, his ability is to transform into anyone and have there power two. He has a son who he cant take his power but if they touch, Smudge would transfer his powers to his son who Smudge doesn't know who his son is and his son doesn't know if he is his son. About Squirrelrun everyone says this " how could something so tiny turn that big and how could something so big turn so tiny.

One snowy day, my family and I went to the mountains to see some rocks. We spent a long time getting ready to go that my little pup was so exited to go she had a dribble “how could something so tiny do that” said mam in a shocked voice. By the time the roads started to get busy we were ready to go. It took us a whole hour to get there. I was very exited to get there because my best friend Ella was going as-well. Ella lived in a town near my house but she moved closer to her school because she was wonting to walk to school.

One sunny day the Jones family decided to go for a long strole down to the nearby park. Little did they know that Max who was Peters younger brother had left the patio door wide open. Sometime later there was a rather small visitor to their family home, the visitor was none other than a little grey mouse. The mouse was searching for food, he liked to eat; cheese, bread, ham and rice. Later that evening the family came home to a big surprise , the mouse had been in all the rooms and had nibbles all their furniture. the family were so shocked that they gasped and said "how can something so tiny cause so much damage!".

One Autumn day, Savannah was eventually allowed to buy a pet puppy, she was so happy because she had wanted one for a really long time, this was her chance to get one. Next she grabbed her coat, put her shoes on,Quickly got her moneybox and finally said Goodbye to her mum. A few minutes later, Savannah arrived at the Pet Shop and asked the shopkeeper if she could have a cute Cockerpoo the shopkeeper said" Yes, of course you can, but remember to look after it." So she carefully picked up the little puppy and paid for it. When Savannah arrived back home she gave the little puppy something to eat, but as the time by she realised that it was harder than she thought, as it needed toliet training and couldn't stop barking. Then she whispered to herself " HOW COULD SOMETHING SO TINY be really hard to look after ? "

School had ended for the day. Everyone at school was excited about the town fireworks display. I had to get home and change very quickly to be on time. When me and my family got there we were given a pass to give us access to the arena. It was a cold night and I was shivering but I was too excited to see the fireworks to care. Suddenly a tiny pink firework zoomed into the air. It burst in the sky…BANG! The whole crowd cheered with a burst of laughter . How could something so small be so loud?

Do you ever wonder how ants are so little? How could something so tiny fit all the organs and important parts inside of it? It bewilders me; but then again, lots of things are very interesting. For instance, cows have four stomachs. Honestly, can't anyone just be normal for once? No, they can't. You see, If everyone was the same; life would be boring and pathetic. Imagine if you came to school one day and everyone was completely identical? Duh, boring. You couldn't identify anyone in the street, as well as not being able to find your mate on the yard.

It was a new day when my friend Paige, called me to say that she had got a new tiny puppy. It was called tiny as it was so small, with white little curls and a stubby fluffy tail. After getting ready, I called for my friend Paige. When I called it was lunch time for the tiny puppy. When I walked in the puppy was gulping down his last scraps from a giant bowl "how could something so tiny, eat something so big, we giggled as the puppy scamped up the stairs happily munching on his last few bites.

One sunny morning we were sat in an airport lounge looking out of the window at all of the other planes taking off and landing, I looked at the departure boards, our plane was ready. Walking up the steps into the aeroplane I was really excited for our holidays. Soon the plane was taking off, about half an hour into the flight the plane started to lose altitude, even the pilot could not stop it, but a mouse came out of nowhere, he stopped the plane from crashing. All of the passengers said “how could something so tiny do that!”

BB8 and R2-D2 are both robots in Star Wars. ! R2-D2 is white and blue and he sends electric currants through people to try and stun them. BB8 orange and white and half the size of R2-D2. BB8 likes rolling around all the time and he never stops, he is a good guy. If he was in danger he would whiz around and make people dizzy. His antenna at the top of his head (slightly to the right) helps him communicate to people …how could something so tiny…be so smart and quick!!! Only BB8 would fit into this group.
