This is Guy Barker reporting for the news at 5pm, finally we can make a start of recording our bulletin. It looks like a huge cream egg coming down to Earth at the speed of light but obviously facts show it is the biggest meteor in the galaxy. Early yesterday morning the huge meteor crashed on a small hill but every one thought it was the end of the world but it was in fact a cream egg! We have got a major problem on our hands the hole of the county is covered in cream egg and people are stuck in their homes, unable to go to work and school.

A lovely effort Kate. I like that you have begun to include commas within your writing in an attempt to denote a clause. Could we try to focus on adding punctuation next time?

"Finally we can make a start!" I cried when I stepped into the new classroom. firstly we did all the important stuff in two lessons. I felt excited because I like this sort of stuff. Then we had lunch my favorite part of the day, because the sandwiches mammy makes me. After lunch I did a mood graph, I felt happy at the time because its new. But the Topic lesson was a bit unexpected! we had to play this game called Poc a toc, I didn't like it, but at least it was better then writing! this is my 106 word challenge I hope you enjoyed it

A very honest opinion Kayleigh, I like it! I really like the range of openers you have included and how you have included complex sentences within your writing. Keep it up!

It's the start of school when everyone hover's over me to check if I have anything to share. We line up smartly after the bell rings loudly. Silently we march up to the year 5 classroom as soon as our teacher picks us up. Smiling sarcastically at the board that has some maths on that look hard. I started thinking will the work be harder in year 5. At break time my friends and I played until we had to go back to class. Yey, art my favorite lesson we waited ages and then it began I said ''finially we can make a start''

A fab start to your 100 word challenges Evie-Mae. I like how you have included speech marks and added a wider range of openers within your writing. Could we try and focus on our punctuation for the next challenge?

One day a girl called Victoria decided she wanted a tree house for her birthday but she wanted to help make it. As soon as she told her parents they disapproved which actually came as a surprise to Victoria as her parents didn't say no to many things but this apparently was a definite no. Not on my watch the thought to her self so she threw herself on to the floor and started to wail! 'Ok ok you can have a tree house' they said. They ordered the wood and 'finally we can make a start she said to her dad' after they had finished it looked brilliant.

Well done Beau. This is a really good effort. I like that you have included speech and have used a range of openers. Could we begin to include commas within our sentences to further develop them and allow for that little breath whilst reading.

On Saturday my mum and I decided to bake a cake but we didn't have the right ingredients. We then made a list of what we needed before we went to the shops. A few minutes later we arrived at Asda, for our chocolate cake the essentials we needed were: chocolate, eggs, butter, sugar and for the decoration we needed sugar icing, sprinkles and pink crystals.

A good effort Neve. This is a great piece of writing that includes a good range of openers and a comma to denote a clause. However, we are missing one thing... the prompt. You may have accidentally pressed send before this as I believe your writing was building towards its conclusion.

Mr Turner lumbered into his old, ripped chair waiting for the class to be quiet. He counted down from five expecting us to be silent. By the time he had counted to three we were all quiet."Finally we can make a start on our English lesson,We will be learning about mood graphs today", Mr Turner told us. "Are we all ok with that?" Mr Turner asked loudly strolling around the class room. "Yes sir" we all replied "Lets start then" By the time it was break time we were all finished so we rushed out side for break. Minewhile Mr Turner checked our work.

An excellent piece of writing Jessica. I'm delighted how you have managed to recall real events in a way that flows so well. Try to use your pronouns rather than repeating. For example Mr Turner did this, then he did that.

Finally we can make a start on my baby brothers bedroom. Firstly we bought items from our shopping list which included blankets, bed sheets, a cot, wardrobe, chest of drawers, toy chest and a light. When we arrived home I helped my stepdad build the cot by passing him screws and the screwdriver because he was holding the pieces of wood together. "You have been a good help Katie" said Marc. Next I helped my mam put on the white clean covers on the cot and also the blanket. Finally I made a special present for my brother which was a picture on a dinosaur that I sewed onto a pillow. At last his room was finished and I loved it!

I cannot wait because when my Dad comes home he is going to take me to the football. The match is going to be played at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough. Middlesbrough are going to play Brentford. Before the match we walk into town to meet my grandma and go and get some lunch. Grandma likes going to football too! We will go to the pub so my Dad can meet his friends and have a mucky beer, I have some orange juice. We will then go to the stadium. The front door opens, its my Dad, finally we can make a start "COME ON BORO!"

While I was eating my breakfast Dad had an idea ''lets all go on a bike ride", he cried. I looked outside and it was raining but dad said it will stop soon so we got everything ready. It had just stopped raining,"finally we can make a start" ,I cheered. We checked our tyres, the brakes and the bell and then we were off. We cycled along the old disused railway track all the way to Spennymoor which is where my Granny and Grandad live. I had a drink then we set off back home. The sun was now shining and the birds were singing

Once in the wild west of lego land there was an evil sheriff, who kept all the bandits loot to himself. Dynamite Joey saw the sheriff through his binoculars locking the loot away. Dynamite Joey decided to do something about it. He shot like a supersonic bullet down to the saloon. Bruce Brown was there playing cards. Joey shouted "the sheriff has been stealing the loot, finally we can make a start on building a new leader". Lazy Bruce said "we? Don't you mean you?". Dynamite Joey built a super bandit and an ultimate battering ram to defeat the evil sheriff using his awesome building skills.

Easter came and lots of eggs. As I opened one of my cream eggs I dropped it on the floor. It broke in half, it looked like a river of cream. Then a few little men appeared, I couldn't believe it, they put some cones around it, this was to protect it I guessed. Suddenly I shrunk and I was one of the little men. It was so much fun. I helped the little men to clean up the egg and then I was back to my normal size.

I went to Nanna and Grandad's caravan at Witton Castle. The peacocks live there so we went for a walk to find the feathers of a peacock. The first feather we found was a long brown feather that they have underneath their beautiful coloured feathers. Altogether we found thirteen different peacock feathers. Some of them where the same but we found a selection of them. My favourites were the one which looked liked an owl feather. The other one was an original peacock feather with the eye on it. I also liked another feather which was black with little strips of blue inside. Those were most of the different feathers we found on our walk. They all felt so soft and delicate. When we were walking back we saw a peacock it had beautiful feathers they were all different shapes and sizes. The peacock walked up a big hill and three stone steps to get up to the top of the castle , as there were some steps missing the peacock flew onto the top of the castle. We walked back and a lady helped us find some more feathers.

..."finally we can make a start"...I said to the instructor as my wheel rolled closer to the edge .I had waited a long time for this moment. I had saved up all my pocket money and earned more by doing jobs and washing cars. Eventually I bought myself a stunt scooter and some lessons. I was going to tackle the biggest rap in Dynamix skate park:The death slide. Quickly I pushed off with one foot and swiftly placed it on the board. At first I lost my balance but once I gained speed I stabilised. I zoomed off hurtling towards the foam pit.

One of my best friends was bullied for having a hobby he really enjoyed, he was a singer who loved to sing, the bullies were crule and nastie to him, picking on him calling him horrible names but he still sang and sang. He enter the X Factor and sung his favourite song " Finally we can make a start" he won yippee the bullies left him alone and he continued to sing to show the bullies he would never give up and to teach them that they never scared him because he loved to sing and it was a great song.
